The recommended treatment course is of 3 or more injections, each one administered every 4 weeks. The effects usually last up to 9 months depending on the individuals lifestyle and age.
The gel is biodegradable inside the body and is not permanent so reapplication within further treatments are required for longer lasting results. Further treatments can be given by the practitioner if required, generally up to 2 per year.
